About Latino Shop Switzerland
The story behind our shop
Latino Shop Switzerland was born from a very personal wish: as a Colombian living in Switzerland, I know what it feels like to live far away from home. Arriving in a foreign country is not the same when the familiar products and dishes you grew up with are missing.
That is exactly why I founded this shop – with the goal of giving South Americans in Switzerland back a piece of home, culture and community. A familiar taste, a well-known drink or the flag of your own country can bring a feeling of home that nothing else can replace.
My goal is for every Latin American country to find something here that suits it – be it food, drinks or fan merchandise. I try to give everyone a little something, so that every Latina and every Latino in Switzerland finds a little piece of home.
